Also applies to single conductors in a group and in contact with each other. The ampacities are for a single, loaded cable in still air. In a group of loaded cables in close proximity in air, exposed or enclosed, follow the correction method shown on the ampacity correction factors page. For ambient temperatures other than indicated, also use correction factors shown on the ampacity correction factors page. Air ambient temperature 40°C. |
